Beginning with a Zoom virtual meeting in September 2025 between Cambridge and Yerevan city officials working in the broad field of social issues, CYSCA has hosted discussions to allow for collaboration between the two city governments. Then in November, Gevorg Gharibyan, recently appointed Yerevan City Head of Child and Social Protection, then came to Cambridge for a week of meetings as CYSCA’s guest. Crucial in the success of the week was Cambridge Peace Commission Acting Executive Director Saffana Anwar, who arranged the schedule. More activity on this front is planned for the coming year.
