Tavitian Scholars Program at Tufts University

In October 2025, CYSCA re-established a connection with the Tavitian Scholars Program at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University. The program has been in existence for 25 years, and this year brought together 16 mid-level career professionals from Armenia’s public sector for a semester of study. CYSCA and the Fletcher School co-hosted a panel discussion event titled “Building Trust in Democratic Institutions: Perspectives from Law, Justice, and Public Service” that featured Middlesex Sheriff Peter Koutoujian, Justice Gabrielle Wolohojian of the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts, and State Representative David Muradian. In the weeks that followed, the scholars were able to visit the panelists at their respective workplaces and learn more about their institutions.
