In 2014, CYSCA introduced preventive dentistry in Armenia.  Then Board member Karina Matevosyan, a dental hygienist, taught this course at the Yerevan State Medical University’s Therapeutic and Family Dentistry Department.  CYSCA supported this project through their budget, as well as from donations from the community, obtaining needed dental tools and materials to be used for this training.
